What is a LESCO New Connection?
A LESCO new connection is a formal request to the Lahore Electric Supply Company for installing a fresh electricity meter at a premises that does not currently have one. The process involves application, site inspection, payment of a demand notice, and meter installation — typically completed within a few weeks for standard domestic loads.
Who Can Apply?
- Pakistani citizen with valid CNIC
- Owner or authorized occupant of the premises
- Property has a clear ownership / tenancy document
- No outstanding LESCO dues against the address

- Ownership document, registry, or allotment letter
- Tenancy / rent agreement (for tenants)
- Test report from a licensed electrician

Step-by-Step Application Process
Survey & Application
Visit your nearest LESCO subdivision office or apply online. Submit the Demand Note application form with all required documents.
Site Inspection
A LESCO line superintendent visits your premises to verify load requirements, distance from the nearest pole, and feasibility.
Demand Notice (DN)
After approval, LESCO issues a Demand Notice listing the security fee, service charges, and any line-extension cost.
Payment of Fees
Pay the demand notice amount at any designated bank within the validity period printed on the notice.
Meter Installation
Once payment is verified, LESCO installs the meter, energises the connection, and issues the 14-digit reference number.
Online Application Procedure
- Open the official LESCO website and navigate to the "New Connection" section.
- Create an account using your CNIC and active mobile number, then verify via OTP.
- Fill out the online application form — applicant details, address, sanctioned load, and connection type.
- Upload scanned copies of CNIC, ownership/tenancy document, and electrician test report.
- Submit the application and note the tracking ID for follow-up.
- Track status online; once the demand notice is generated, download and pay at a designated bank.
