How to Check LESCO Bill?
Simple steps to check your electricity bill online
The Reference Number is a unique 14-digit number printed on the top right of your LESCO bill. It identifies your meter connection in the official LESCO/PITC system.

You can find it on any previous bill on the top right side.

Every LESCO online bill is broken into three blocks — connection details, consumption, and charges. Knowing which line means what makes it easy to spot billing errors during your monthly LESCO bill online check.
Reference No. & Account ID
The 14-digit reference number identifies your meter. The account ID is used inside LESCO's internal system and rarely required for online payment.
Units consumed (kWh)
Current reading minus previous reading. This is the number the calculator uses to work out slab charges — check it against your meter monthly.
Energy cost + FPA + TR
Energy cost is slab-based. FPA (Fuel Price Adjustment) and TR surcharge are approved monthly by NEPRA and shown as separate rows.
GST 18%, ED 1.5%, TV fee, Income Tax
Government levies added on top of the energy cost. Protected users are exempt from GST; income tax only applies above Rs 25,000/month.
For a slab-wise breakdown of energy cost, open the LESCO unit rates table or run the numbers through the advanced bill calculator.
Peak vs. off-peak hours
Time-of-Use (ToU) meters record peak-hour units separately. In LESCO, peak hours are typically 18:00–22:00 in winter and 19:00–23:00 in summer. Peak units are billed at a higher tariff than off-peak units, so a heavy AC or motor load in the evening can push your LESCO monthly bill up sharply even if total kWh are unchanged.
Why the online and paper bill can differ
A newly generated bill takes 24–72 hours to sync between the LESCO field system and the PITC portal. If a courier bill has already reached you but your LESCO bill check online still shows last month, wait a day and re-check — the online copy will match once the sync completes.
Common mistakes during a LESCO bill check
- Entering the customer ID instead of the 14-digit reference number.
- Including spaces, dashes or hyphens in the reference number.
- Using an old reference number after your meter was replaced.
- Paying after the due date and ignoring the late-payment surcharge column.
- Assuming the online bill is wrong — it is the same file PITC hands to the courier.
- Ignoring the arrears row — unpaid amounts from previous months carry forward.
LESCO bill check by serial number, Customer ID or reference number — which one works?
A common question during a LESCO online bill check is which number to enter. Every LESCO bill carries three identifiers, but only one works online:
Reference Number (14 digits)
The only number accepted for an online LESCO bill check. Printed in a box near the top of your bill — enter all 14 digits without spaces or dashes.
Serial Number
Identifies the printed paper copy for LESCO's internal tracking. A LESCO bill check by serial number is not supported online — use the reference number instead.
Customer ID / Account ID
Used inside LESCO's billing system for records and complaints. A LESCO online bill check by Customer ID is not available on the portal; the 14-digit reference number covers the same connection.
Looking for an older copy? A LESCO previous bill check online uses the same reference number — the portal keeps roughly 12 months of history, so you can open last month's bill, compare units and download any earlier month as a PDF. And you don't need a separate LESCO bill check app: this page works like one in any mobile browser, and every LESCO online bill check can be printed straight from the PDF for bank or shop payment.

How can I check my LESCO bill online in 2026?
Enter your 14-digit reference number in the LESCO bill check tool at the top of this page. Your latest 2026 LESCO online bill opens instantly from the official PITC portal — free, with no login or app install required.
How do I check my last month's LESCO bill?
Run a LESCO previous bill check with the same 14-digit reference number. The portal keeps around 12 months of billing history, so you can view and download last month's bill and earlier months from the history table.
Can I do a LESCO bill check by serial number or Customer ID?
No. LESCO's online system only accepts the 14-digit reference number printed on your bill. The serial number identifies the printed paper bill, and the Customer ID is for LESCO's internal records — neither works for an online bill check. If you have lost every copy, retrieve your reference number from your subdivision office or helpline 118.
Is there a LESCO bill check app?
You don't need a separate LESCO bill check app. lescobillonline.com works like an app in any mobile browser — open the page, enter your reference number, and check, download or print your bill. You can also add the site to your home screen for one-tap access.
How can I print my LESCO online bill?
After your LESCO online bill check, open the PDF and press Ctrl+P (or use the print option on mobile). The printed duplicate bill is accepted at all banks, ATMs, JazzCash and Easypaisa agents exactly like the couriered copy.
What is the difference between a LESCO bill check online duplicate and the original?
None. A LESCO bill check online duplicate is the same official PDF PITC hands to the courier — identical reference number, units, taxes and due date — so it is valid for payment everywhere.
